About Me
I'm a positive and optymistic guy who spends his days with:
*) computers (I'm a software developer @Intel since may 2011)
*) Olga (my inspiring girlfriend since 2009)
*) sport (since I was young I did several more or less healthy things including martial arts, swimming & improving my survival skills - now it's mostly football, running, cycling & gym)
*) friends (we love to spend evenings and weekends with our friends - we ususally order or prepare something tasty, then play a board game, watch a movie or play a console party game)
*) travelling (actually this is Olga's doing - since we started going out together, we always try to spend our free time visiting other countries and looking for our place in this crazy but beautiful world - we've already visited quite a few of them!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here both for travelling and travellers!
I used to live in an old flat with some good friends of mine and invited many people there, but sadly those times have ended... At the moment, I'm living with three girls in Gdansk-Wrzeszcz and I have a lot of things on my head, that's why my couch is not available at the moment... But hey, it won't be unavailable forever!
In 2009 we made a really long trip through the Western Europe - Olga and I visited France (shoutout to Ilke, Bruno and his friends!), Spain (shoutout to lovely Giedre!) and Portugal (shoutout to a brilliant, cheap youth hostel!).
Since then, we visited quite a lot of different countries and we are still trying to broaden our horizons even further.
Interests
FOOD - I'm really interested in different kinds of food- I love to prepare it, to cook and to eat :) I'm particularly in love with the Asian cousine !
PROGRAMMING, COMPUTER SCIENCE - I'm working at Intel in Gdańsk and I hope to continue working there (everything about the job is just awesome) and travel a lot in the future (as the company has sites all over the world)
BOARD GAMES - No, I don't mean chess or solitaire - I mean the crazy logic/Fantasy/Adventure/RPG board games which are becoming our main source of fun nowadays :) Many of our friends began to play them too, hooray !
ROCK CLIMBING - I've been climbing since a few years and, in spite of the fact that I would like to devote myself to it, I just don't have enough time to do so...
SNOWBOARD, WINDSURFING - after rock climbing my favourite sports- every year I try to spent as much of my free time on them as possible !
GUITAR - I've been playing guitar since.... since I was12 or so, I guess... That was my true love for a long time, but due to my studies and a slight addiction to computer games I let it cover in dust :( I can still show some skill though !
