About Me

CURRENT MISSION

a year in India for travel and randomness

ABOUT ME

I'm a 27 year old from Sydney. My girlfriend and I both ditched good jobs, great friends and quality share houses to find something else. So far that something else has included grubby hostels, long bus trips and amazing travels all over India. We've been checking out huge chunks of India for three months. Now we are looking for an apartment in Mumbai.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm working on that one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed around India and hosted people in Mumbai.

Interests

My greatest passion is basketball. Had I been born as a 7 foot male with awesome athletic talents, I would be realising my dreams and playing in the NBA. Unfortunately I'm only 6 foot, so have based my career around my other great interests - writing and politics. I love seeing live music and reading. When not hanging out with friends or eating ice cream, I'm often chilling out watching a new series on DVD. Latest obsession - The West Wing and the Wire.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books I've recently read and loved include, Washington by Gore VIdal, The Year of Living Dangerously by Christopher Koch, In Spite of the Gods by Edward Luce and Hey Nietzche leave them kids alone by Craig Schuftan.
Music I'm listening to are bands - Against Me!, The Bronx, Jeff Buckley, Fleet Foxes and The Drones.
My favourite movie is Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Other much loved classics include, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Capote and Planet Terror.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sleeping in tree houses and flying through a forest on huge metal cables in Laos. Trekking through Kashmir.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach someone how to dribble a ball. I would also be happy to learn new tricks from someone who is better than me. I'm happy to share my music and make someone a mean compilation tape.

Countries I’ve Visited
