ABOUT ME

I'm a chill, laid back person. I try and make the most out of what I have, and am generally a very positive, optimistic person. Music is one of my main passions in life. I love the scene and the people I try and surround myself around. I love warm weather and making the most of it. Backpacking, hiking, rafting, kayaking, fly fishing, and frisbee golf are my favorite ways to enjoy nice weather. Next to music, traveling is my favorite way to spend my time. Maybe its because i'm so bored with where I'm living now, but I love to see new places and things. No matter how much I travel, its never enough for me. I'll never run out of places I want to go, and will never see everything I want to see. I love to meet new people, and get lots of good energy from good people.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is to make yourself happy, while treating people how you would like to be treated. I believe in going with your gut instinct, and not holding back. You only live life once, so it should be a life free of regret.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the concept of couch surfing. I'm somebody who has done my share of bumming around with friends, as well as allowing friends to bum around with me. Adding some organization to it, and linking people up so that they can go beyond just people they already know is something I was very excited to find out about.
I'll be posted up in Denali Park this summer leading raft trips and will be more then happy to host people up there, and show them why Alaska is the most amazing place I've ever been to.

I really enjoy music, shows, snowboarding, fly fishing, backpacking, traveling, enjoying the company of my friends, my family, listening to the dead, rafting, doing crazy shit that other people don't think I should be doing, meeting new people, swimming in the ocean, trying to surf, driving in a car for hours on end, and having a good time.

I love the jam band scene. I love reggae and classic rock as well. Some of my favorit bands are the greateful dead, sts9, disco biscuits, bob and ziggy marley, sublime, keller williams, talking heads, the wooten brothers, and countless other music.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Probably the most amazing thing I've experienced is being stared down by an angry grizzly bear while salmon fishing. The story is way deeper then that, but we'll leave it there for now.
