About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to find my Spirit Animal

ABOUT ME

I'm getting pretty tired of doing the same thing every day and want to get out to see the world and meet some different people. I've decided to start traveling as much as I can and never miss a genuine opportunity. I love spontaneous plans and animated people as well as animals. I am a believer that everyone has something unique to offer if you only give them some time and listen to what they are trying to say.

I'm pretty handy so if you have a leaky toilet or a busted door hinge, I'm your guy. I'd like to build a house one day. I'd like to work on the design of bulldozers or construction cranes or help build a power plant. I love anything that is ultra-efficient and fail-safe. I'm inclined to take 3 times as long to complete a task if it means that it will work out the way I think it should.

I've got to go eat dinner but I'll be right back...

PHILOSOPHY

I'm just a dude in the world

The best things go unnoticed

Whenever you start to feel too comfortable you should start looking for something to change. Stagnation is poisonous

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm pretty flexible. Hit me up if you're in the area. I can show you everything Gaithersburg has to offer including the movie theater, the mall and the Shady Grove Metro station haha

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love to wake up in new places and explore every little thing there is to see. I'm just getting started on my journey

Interests

I work in a machine shop and love to make things and work with my hands. I plan to apprentice as a steamfitter and get certified as a pipe welder. I used to be the bass player in a band and have lately been itching to get behind a drum kit somewhere. I like philosophical conversations with anyone about anything and doing things that noone has ever done before

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen the world from miles and miles up in the air. I marvel at the concept of flying every time the plane takes off.

I've built a potato gun, a trebuchet, and a steel welding table. One time I carried 5 30packs of Natural Light from the car into my house. I've seen an SUV crash into a jerseywall and an interstate car fire with flames 30 feet in the air. I've rowed a crew shell on the Potomac River and been sea sick off the side of a fishing boat in the Caribbean.

I'm working on some more...

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm down with all three of these. If people would stop being so superficial and materialistic and spent a little more time trying to learn about different kinds of people the world would be a better place.
