ABOUT ME

I am a 40 years old frenchman who settled in the wild city of Brest, far away in beautiful Britanny (west of France).
I am interested in ecology and music.
I am a teacher in primary school, focusing on the "Freinet" way of learning, based on cooperation between children.

PHILOSOPHY

- I am an ecologist: I try to take care of my environnement, the earth, loved ones, friends and family.
- I want a simple life, but it's complicated ;o)
- Music and art are a gift, it should be free and performed by everybody.
- I don't know if I have the right to claim being a feminist, but I certainly wish the world to be more feminine
- I strive for compassion and benevolence
- Humor! Meaning that this list is important, but not serious

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosted a lot of times during my one year travel in 2010, but didn't host a lot in return.
I live in my girlfriend's house, but I also rent a small and dark studio where you could stay and sleep alone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A lot of people offered me generous couches, especially in Iran, where I learned everything there is to know about true hospitality.

- I sing, play the guitar and drums, and a bit of piano and bass.

HIKING AND WALKING
I love exploring the mountains, the forest and the seaside. I love random walking in cities I don't know.

RANDOM
- Hot water: just addicted to tea, spa, hammam
- I could spend my whole life listening to Sigur Ros' music and Michel Onfray's philosophy. In their own ways, they are both truly talented, inspiring and a major influence to me.
