About Me
CURRENT MISSION
That I can make every situation I am involved in a little bit better, and to live to the fullest while I am at it.
ABOUT ME
I am a student at Xavier University studying Psychology. My dream is to be a counselor/therapist, working potentially with depression or post-traumatic stress. I love the feeling of helping another person through a difficult time, and of using my own talents and gifts to benefit others. I am a free and spontaneous spirit most of the time, but I also enjoy some structure and direction in my life. If an opportunity places itself in my path, I will almost always take it. I hope that through my experiences I will develop a very realistic and informed view of the world, while maintaining a sense of trust and faith in humanity.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is what you make it. I truly believe that there is some good that can be found in any situation. It is often through the most challenging times that we grow the most and really learn the meaning of our lives.
Interests
My favorite thing in the world is a deep conversation, in which I feel a strong connection with the other person. I also love experiencing epiphanies about the world, trying NEW things (food, places, languages, you name it), and just spending quality time with the people that I love. I am a very outdoorsy person, which includes the interests of hiking, swimming, biking, and star gazing.
