Hello! My name is Ecatherine - this is the full name. If in short - then Kate. I live and work in Moscow. I am an IT specialist in a gas and oil company. I mainly work, but when I have free time, I like to spend it in a variety of ways. I like to cook, read fiction and non-fiction, ride a bike in the summer and ice skate in the winter. Sometimes I go to the movies. I love cats :) There is not much space in my house, but if you want to come to visit me, I will be glad to give you accommodation and conduct an excursion. And of course I’ll feed deliciously :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like traveling very much. It probably sounds corny, but nonetheless it is. By the age of 29, I saw Egypt, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Armenia, Thailand, India, Spain, Belgium, and Holland. And so many places where I have not been. I'd like to visit America, Japan, Ireland, Norway, Paris ... I like to get acquainted with culture and people in new countries. I work hard to earn travel. And if, thanks to the Couchsurfing project, I can get to know new countries and people and save a little while, I will be very happy! :) In turn, I will be glad to see guests from other countries and will be happy to show them Moscow

Music, Movies, and Books

I like several areas of music: Jazz, Rock and a bit of modern pop music.
My favorite book is the Count of Monte Cristo Alexandre Dumas, as well as the magazine popular in Russia, Popular Mechanics. From movies I like detective stories, adventures, but my favorite genre is cartoons. For example the Simpsons or Family Guy :)

Since I really like cooking, you can exchange gastronomic experience. And it’s not necessary to go to Russia for this. I can arrange Russia at your place to cook any Russian dish :) It is also of course interesting to practice English

I can share knowledge about my country, its customs and culture. Take a tour of non-tourist places. Moscow is beautiful not only in the area of Red Square :)
