I am a feminist and an aspiring filmmaker who values both independence and community. I am a fiendishly quotidian sentimentalist on a quest to learn, love, and live more fully. I am learning to embrace and ride the waves of change within myself and around me because I believe my success and virtuousity as an individual depends on it. I believe that true (r)evolution on every scale is only possible from the inside out, and that everyone possesses the potential for other-worldly humanity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The couchsurfing, jet-setting, world-travelling life has usually been beyond my means. This site is part of my mission for changing that by linking up with folks for whom travelling and cultural exchange is a way of life. I hope to share more adventures and make new friends while positively contributing to and learning from this community.
I met my Coachella 2011 camping buddies here. I have also met several fellow CSers for different social events in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Film. Music. Reading. Writing. Nature. Histories. World cultures. Visual and performing arts. Social and environmental justice.
Music, Movies, and Books
My tastes are ever rotating and evolving. Eclecticism and diversity are the only constants. Ask me what I'm into this week.

- Attended a traditional Hindu wedding
- Mingled with camels

Teach, Learn, Share
I could talk your ear off about movies and music. I could bounce screenplay ideas off of you. I could maybe learn a thing or two about cooking or kickboxing from you. I've got an appetite for knowledge that I would love to nurture and share with others.
