Hi Everyone,
my name is Marcel and I grew up in Germany. I am an open minded person, loves to travel and meet new people. Like most germans I enjoy the occasional beer and my hobbies are scuba diving and sports of all kind (depending on country and availability). I left home the first time with 17 to life for 1 year in California. After high school I went to study first in switzerland and then spain. In between I spend semesters each in Singapore and Mexico. Now I just recently moved to Sri Lanka where I´m working on a shrimp farm.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best time in my life I had while backpacking. Staying in hostels, meeting new people and just enjoying life. During that time I heard so much about couch surfing so I finally decided to register.

Interests

Travel is the most common answer, but for me its true as well. Since I can remember I always had the fascination for every place thats far away. So I followed that inner call to leave home and did so whenever I could. Buy now I traveled, studied, lived, worked and volunteered around the world and I have no plans on stoping soon.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I´m a great companion and so far people always enjoyed living with me. I enjoy going out, I can cook some german and thai food, and I guess the rest is up to you.
