My life was heavily influenced by dad's career. My dad was in the military and I was lucky that we had to move a lot and it was a lot of fun. Because of this I have a huge passion for travel and meeting new people.

When we lived in Mississippi, my dad had to retrain in to a new field and he went in to computer maintenance. He came home from school all excited. He said we are going to open our own computer company and he points at me says “you will build and fix computers and I will run the business.” I was 11 years old 😂. Well life didn't quite turn out that way but his teachings had a profound affect on my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am so glad my friend recommended this app. I love to travel and meet new people. While I could stay in hotels or Air BnBs, it would be so cool nice to meet new friends to enrich my travel experience. My wish it to make everlasting friends all around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I prefer to snorkel, sail, paddle board, yoga, hike, run, etc. Or watch how to videos. Definitely no scary movies.

Music: My choices are based on what mood I want to be in. To get myself moving I tell Siri or Alexa to play happy music. When i run, I’ll either play the same upbeat tunes or get in to my warrior mode with music from movies like Spartan! If I need to study, write, or focus, I either listen to Trance(EDM), piano, or other instrumental music. Country is fun. 80’s usually lights me up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This one time it had rained a lot and my favorite place in Florida had a rather large and uncertain mud hole. I had no idea how deep it was. My truck was not a 4x4. Since she was new to me, I wasn’t sure how she would handle. I told my new friend to be quiet for a moment so I could focus. Thankfully my truck was great! She “trucked” right along like it was just another day on the road. We had an awesome time fishing! I caught a nice size Remora that we through back. At the end of our kayaking trip we started to head out and there was a sport utility vehicle stuck in the mud hole. Out of all the people, I was the only woman driver, and I was the only one who had a tow rope. You should have seen the looks on their faces!! All the guys were in awe. It was pretty cool. 😎
