ABOUT ME

I love traveling! Everything from local daytrips to overseas voyages. I just like to GO!

I have been blessed to have a mother who photographed for National Geographic and because of that, I've had the opportunity to see a small part of the world.

I'd rather sleep on the floor of a mud hut in Africa than in a fancy resort in the Carribean.

I am a wanderer and dreamer. I'm happiest when I'm in a place that I've never been before. I love connecting with people and large groups, but as a writer, I also like a bit of quiet time so I can take it all in and reflect.

I love meeting people, trying and cooking new foods, and am always up for trying something new. (I should add: as long as it's not illegal.)

I am easygoing, spontaneous, and flexible.

I want to participate by meeting people from all over the world, inviting them into my home, showing them the small part of the world I live in, as well as traveling and experiencing new places, people and food!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am brand new, never had the pleasure of experiencing couchsurfing! I have done "unofficial" couchsurfing all across India and Europe, but not with directly through this website.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Growing up, I'd always go to India to visit extended family. I recently took my (All-American) husband there for the first time and got to really experience India the way it was meant to be done. We went on elephant rides, traveled all over, did some shopping, saw the Taj Mahal and got to eat some amazing food!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking and can teach anyone some classic American, Indian, and Thai dishes! I'd love to learn other cuisines!
