I have been stuck here for days, trying to think of something witty to write that will make me seem, funny, intellectual and just generally awesome. This however, did not go well.

People tell me I am pretty laid back and can get along with pretty much anyone. I enjoy learning about people and getting to know them and what makes them tick. I would say my biggest passion is for travel but that seems like I am cheating and just stating the obvious.

My fiance and I are pretty new to Auckland and New Zealand, and are really looking to meet some people that make our time here really special, both those that share our view of the world and those that challenge it!

I couldn't live my life without tea, cricket and a good book, I realise this is so quintessentially English that most people will cringe, but it's true and I just can't help it! Spoken like a true addict don't you think?

Sports are a big passion and keeping up to date with my favorites, cricket (obviously) and football. I love to keep active both in the gym and out of it by playing football for a local 7-a-side team, going to the gym and going on hike / swimming as much as I can on the weekends.

I love food and cooking and experiment as much as I can.. I always try to eat local food wherever possible and ask for the recipe from the best so that I can add it to the mental recipe collection

All three of these are real passions of mine and so I am not going to bore you with a list cos it'll be HUGE! My tastes are varied and so I try not to box myself into liking a particular genre because you might miss out on something amazing.

I am always happy to receive suggestions from friends, family and random strangers on things I should be listening/reading/watching, so please if you feel passionately about something let me know...
