Learn, grow, and love well. I work with teachers in the Dominican Republic and write curriculum. I enjoy making a difference in the community I live in.

ABOUT ME

I love living abroad. I've lived in Japan and am currently living in the Dominican Republic. It gives me a much more well-rounded perspective on life and love and people. I'm not into bars and crazy night life, but I do enjoy dancing, especially a good bachata... que bueno! Travel to me means exploring outdoors, finding hidden gems, learning some of the language and culture and talking to people, doing something active every day, and going slow so that I can enjoy my time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed and hosted in Japan while traveling. I'm currently not able to host, but hopefully I will have a place someday soon that I can welcome people to. I love this forum because I think meeting people and hearing their stories adds an invaluable richness to our lives.

兴趣

I love being outside, and anything that involves being outside. I also enjoy meeting interesting people, learning new languages, and helping other crazy travelers as much as I can.

I saw some of my little suburban middle-class 4th grade students totally break out of their shell and start to have a heart for this world. I think that's truly amazing.
