I like to have a good time, see what's out there, and learn new things. I'd like to think of myself as pretty open minded, and a constant flow of new things keeps me going.

PHILOSOPHY

This is the part of my life where I should be planning my future and preparing for the rest of my life, but I try not to take everything too seriously, I wake up everyday I make time to think about all the things I have to be thankful for to keep me grounded, and if something goes wrong, LIFE GOES ON!

I've never couchsurfed before, but I am down to host, and would love to stay with someone - i cook a mean breakfast fyi

Horses, travelling, learning languages (although I don't know that many, I really want to learn a few more), food, food, and food again, economics (the subject of my studies, but a great love of mine), reading, running, adventures, meeting new people, being with good friends..

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I'm really struggling here to choose a couple of amazing things that have happened to me out of everything that I've seen in my life, but since I HAVE TO, I'll go with the time I went whale watching in the Bay of Fundy and the time I went to Cuba with my family.

To anyone who wants to go whale watching, um... GO. It had to be one of the most amazing things I've ever seen, and I don't know why, but it was beautiful and moving, and it lasted about two hours and I didn't for a moment decide I'd had enough. It was really cold and I was terribly dressed but I just couldn't go to the inside of the boat and stop watching. It was a baby whale and it followed the boat we were on the entire time, breaching, while we crossed the bay from New Brunswick to Nova Scotia. There was a biologist there who kept mentioning how rare it is to see something like this and for such a long duration of time, so everyone felt pretty lucky I hope. Whenever you read about whale watching people always say how amazing an experience it is, and it really really is... thats it.

The second moment was when I went to Cuba with my family. I was walking along the Varadero beach line with my father when we came to a huge cliff, and instead of walking up it, we decided to swim in the water and go under it.. bad idea! We made our way into the water and swam until we were facing the cliff, looking up, the cliff was covered in crabs.. not cute little crabs but the kinds that can break pencils in half with their claws.... yaaaaay! It wouldn't have been a problem if they weren't falling into the water every so often, maybe where they reached a point on the cliff they couldn't grip, or they were going kamikaze off the cliff, or coming for my toes... My dad went up and grabbed one - my f***ing hero. Really cool to see a rock wall covered with hundreds of crabs, I don't know that I'll ever see anything like that again... only regret is that we didn't get a photo.
