ABOUT ME
Sociable nerd. Enjoys board gaming and craft beer. Bad at writing profiles.
Lived in Toronto, Canada for nearly 4 years. Visited Europe, Namibia, Kenya. Favourite place is Mexico City. Never been to Asia, but would love to go some day... hopefully 2015.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Looking to use this to meet interesting people and as an opportunity to travel... as I guess most people are, not really setting myself apart here! Lucky enough to have a bit of extra space, which I am happy to share once in a while.
I'll go to pub nights, walks etc, happy to bring visitors with me.
Generally though I won't be able to show guests around the city, so although you are welcome to use my place I can't spend much time as a guide. Happy to give advice/recommendations though.
I will be working during the week, so it's probably easier for surfers to arrive in the evening so I'll be around, rather than having to walk around the whole day with loads of stuff.
Oxford seems to be a pretty popular spot, and I get a lot of requests, so please be patient and don't be too offended if I decline. It's almost always a question of timing- nothing personal. Generally I will decline people travelling in pairs, I just find it a bit much to host more than one guest.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted 3 couchsurfers so far, all good experiences!
