ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Birmingham, United Kingdom. However I have spent most of my years outside Birmingham (including 4 years in the USA 2004 - 2008).

I have travelled to a number of destinations across the globe.

Friends describe me as someone who is outgoing, spontaneous, adventurous, flexible and open minded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I am not currently able to host, however I am more than happy to hangout/travel/socialise.

Always willing to exchange advice, tips, information on travels etc.

Although I am based in Birmingham, UK; I often travel to other parts of the UK including London (quite frequently) and every so often to Yorkshire.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As a relatively new couch surfing member, I currently do not have any couchsurfing experience; however I hope to plan some trips (local and international) in due course.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2014 - 2015

I spent 3 months travelling around Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia. I plan on returning to the Far East in 2016.

2011 - 2012:

Embarked upon a year long adventure which began with participating in an exchange program in the Middle East for 5 months. This then led to spending the following 7 months in Kashmir volunteering at a school which caters for hearing impaired and physically disabled children.

2010:

Spain: Volunteered on an olive farm in Granada.

2004 - 2008:

Travelled to the USA 18 times, best vacation/travels ever! I was mainly based in Chicago during the course of my studies and also travelled to numerous States across the USA.

Life in itself is a learning experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Learning is a daily ritual and I would be more than happy to learn, share, teach anything; all types of learning is a valuable experience.
