I believe that travelling is a whole experience of knowing new people, living with them, and knowing their cultures and backgrounds. Hotels don't provide such an experience.

I haven't surfed, or hosted yet, however, I am preparing my place to start hosting people. Also, I am willing to couchsurf through my next travels.
