About Me

Salaam — I’m Ali, 20, from Multan, Pakistan, currently studying medicine in Bishkek. I’m a student, a traveler, and a content creator (TikTok: @docali55).
I love cultural exchange: cooking a meal together, exploring local markets, or helping other students, travelers with practical things like finding bus routes, cheap eats, or study tips. I’ve also traveled to Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 and hope to explore more of Central Asia soon.

Languages: Urdu, English, and conversational Russian — so I can help you navigate in Bishkek easily.

I enjoy showing people around Kyrgyzstan’s gems:
• Bishkek: Ala-Too Square, Osh Bazaar, Panfilov Park, Philharmonia.
• Mountains: Ala Archa National Park (just 40 min away — amazing hiking & views).
• Lakes: Issyk-Kul (one of the largest alpine lakes in the world — must-see!).
• History & culture: Burana Tower, traditional yurts, horse culture.

I usually host 1 guest for 1–4 nights in my private hostel room. I’m available most weekends and usually every day , and I prefer guests who respect quiet hours and shared spaces.

✨ Fun side of me
• I make spontaneous TikToks — if you want, we can create content together!
• I love late-night deep talks about life, travel, and culture.
• I can show you secret student hangouts and cheap but tasty food spots.
• I sometimes plan last-minute adventures (like sunrise walks or random bus rides just to see where we end up).

If you want to meet, just tell me your arrival time, where you’re staying, and one fun fact about you — I’ll reply fast. I believe in kindness, curiosity, and making strangers feel like family.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because I love meeting people, making friends, and creating stories. I’m a medical student in Bishkek and a TikTok creator (@docali55). For me, hosting or meeting someone is a chance to exchange ideas, cook food together, film a fun video, or explore Bishkek’s streets.

I also want to help travelers discover Kyrgyzstan: the mountains of Ala Archa, Issyk-Kul lake, and the hidden corners of Bishkek that only students know. In return, I’d love to learn about your culture and experiences.

Interests

• Making TikToks (sometimes with strangers 😅).
• Photography & storytelling.
• Hanging out in bazaars, capturing local life.
• Movies that make me think deeply or laugh loudly.
• Music: from Coke Studio vibes to whatever’s trending online.
• Sharing student life experiences and hearing others’ travel stories.

  • books

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love discovering local music when I travel — from qawwali in Pakistan to Russian pop in Bishkek.

• Movies: I watch anything that shows culture & adventure: Into the Wild, Slumdog Millionaire, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

• Books: Mostly biographies and travel stories — I like to read about people who chase impossible dreams.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Made a TikTok with strangers in Bishkek bazaar that went viral — laughter is the best passport 😅🌍

Hosted a random traveler in my hostel room and we cooked Pakistani biryani together in Bishkek.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Random Russian survival phrases, how to survive med school exams, and how to cook Pakistani chai like a pro ☕.
• Learn: Dance moves from other countries, hidden travel hacks, and unique perspectives on life.
• Share: My playlists, my TikToks, my hostel kitchen (if we experiment cooking), and my favorite student shortcuts in Bishkek.

What I Can Share with Hosts

• My hostel room (private bed, Wi-Fi, shared kitchen).
• A guide to the cheapest, tastiest street food in Bishkek 🍜.
• Random adventures — like catching a marshrutka (minibus) to the mountains just to see what happens.
• Pakistani chai ceremonies (yes, I make strong tea at midnight ☕).
• Honest stories about student struggles, dreams, and funny moments in Kyrgyzstan.
