It was long that I started getting fascinated by people and not places. I travel to experience people. They are the most exciting creation on planet earth. This is my travel philosophy. Humans are nature, humans are nurture. They are you, you are them.
A gypsy by nature, nomad by choice living in an interesting and effiminate socio-cultural settings of Pakistan. Professionally, I am a teacher at a college in Pakistan where I teach applied linguistics. I love urban photography and documenting cultures.
A morning person who gets 1/3 of his work done by 8am for the day. I love to chat and connect with people to develop shared understanding.
Currently working on a project, broadly, in gender studies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To me, it's one decent way to meet locals and at the same time make new friends for life. And yes, no denial to the fact that it is the best way to travel anywhere as an insider :)
Music, Movies, and Books
I like anglophone fiction by non-native writers as it provides an opportunity to observe the negotiations of multiple identities. I also like documentaries on the lives of indigenous people.
