Hi, I’m Muhammed Shamil T C, a passionate teenager driven by my love for travel and discovering the world through people and their stories.

My journey began at 16 when I embarked on my first independent trip from Kerala to Kashmir with a group of strangers and in the same age another memorable experience was trekking to the Kedarkantha summit at 12,500 ft with a group of strangers, which further solidified my love for adventure and exploration. These experiences sparked my wanderlust and set me on an incredible path. Since then, I’ve traveled across 16 states and union territories of India and even ventured into Nepal.

Currently, I’m pursuing a degree in Travel and Tourism in Delhi to align my studies with my passion. My favorite activities include listening to music, reading travel blogs, watching movies, and spending quality offline time with people.

The connections I’ve made while traveling have been incredibly important—they’ve not only made my journeys easier but have enriched my life in countless ways. I look forward to building more connections that will make life even more enjoyable.

I travel on a budget, and it’s often challenging to find affordable hotels or accommodations. More importantly, staying in hotels doesn’t allow me to truly connect with the people and cultures of the places I visit.

As a student, managing the finances for travel can be tough, but that doesn’t stop me. Traveling is something I can’t live without, and Couchsurfing helps me continue my journey.
