ABOUT ME

I'm actually student in Paris 1 and Paris 5 for my master degree. It's about "economics and psychology" a.k.a "behavioral economics" thereby I'm very much interested by human behaviors and especially cultural differences among them. I born in Kazakhstan but I spent most of my live time in Turkey (first İzmir than İstanbul). I can describe myself as a nomad, open-minded of course (not homophobic nor racist about any sense), libertarian and a little bit intellectual. Don't forget to mention, I'm a very talkative person. I speak both English and French fluently.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I was living in İstanbul, I was hosting people and also trying to help with my experiences in İstanbul since it's a very cosmopolitan and big city. I guided some foreign artists in Istanbul as a professional by the way. But since I'm in Paris now, I'm living in a tiny room in a student residence and I'm not able to host anybody for anymore (at least now). I'm still willing to help people to explore Paris (both cultural and night live occasions)

Interests

My interest areas are history, mythologie, psychology and philosophy. The main activity that I'm in love with is watching movies. I watch like 10 movies each month per average. Listening jazz music (especially on live) is another passion to me. I should also mention that drinking is another thing that I do regularly :D. I'm a good drinker.

Music, Movies, and Books

For movies, I can't rank them among each other but I can list perhaps some directors : Jean-luc Godard, Woody Allen, Alfred Hitchcock, Michel Haneke, Luis Bunuel, Sidney Lumet ext...
For music, I listen often old school jazz music. 40s 50s maybe 30s. Swing, bebop, blues.
Django Reinhardt, John Coltrane, Cole Porter, Stanly Clarke are some of the artists that I like the most.
For books, I prefer modern era and early modern times. James Joyce,Jack London,Dostoevsky,Milan Kundera,Franz Kafka, Andre Gide are in the top of my list.

I'm not assertive about cooking yet I can try to cook a specialty of Turkey. Except for that, I can share lots of experiences and knowledge.
