I am a very keen historian attracted by beauty and music, language and friends. Learning about the history of France attracts me, and the love of the culture, music and history!

ABOUT ME

Born in Ireland, lived 4 years in London, from 17 to 21. Have lived in Sweden since 1976, have 2 grown-up children 25 and 35, and 2 grand-children 2 and 4 years old. Now spending at least 6 months in the South of France (Pezenas) wishing to travel to expand my horizons and meeting musicians, local historians (the real people who make this country what it is) in France. I am a musician, play a lot of Irish music and also very interested in the French language and culture.

PHILOSOPHY

Leave the world in the way you would like to enter it. Drawn towards a Buddhist philosophy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling throughout Scandinavia on a trip with two other close friends and a couple of compete strangers. Twas I who organised the whole trip and boy, what a trip it was! Camping out in the wilds was an experience that I found that normal tourism would never had managed to give me.
