PHILOSOPHY

If you can live happily everyday, why bother to pull a long face? Remembering a past mistake, a sorrowful incident or hating someone, would just waste time and would not bring one to anywhere. I prefer to solve the problem, let go something, and get a new life. Keep smiling. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I learn about CS through a friend and I think this is the true meaning of travelling, which brings people closer and they learn, understand and exchange with others. It is important because typical tourist won't have the chance to interact with locals and learn the real culture in a place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a several enjoyable CS experience in Europe and it's always fun to meet a local and truly know the place behind the touristy stuff. I also met some CSers in Hong Kong and told them about Hong Kong.

Interests

Jogging, I have done a half-marathon in 2013!

Read newspaper and learn what is happening in this world.

Scuba diving.

And pack my backpack/luggage, get on a plane and go to the next destination!

Music, Movies, and Books

Not very familiar with the electronic music but enjoys the hits in clubs and bars. Also like Damien Rice, Nick Cave, Jason Mraz and others.
Fav. author - Murakami Haruki, so my fav book is Norwegian Wood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A lot of amazing moments. Recent ones include 2 weeks in Myanmar. This country is not like any other countries. It is spiritually beautiful. Pagodas in Bagan are the best ancient ruins I have ever seen.

I fell in love with scuba diving in 2013. I got my Open Waters & Advanced Open Waters in 1 month time and I dived down to 43m deep! It was amazing. The current, the drift, the numerous fishes, the giant coral reef, very memorable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach foundation and basics of Mandarin, from alphabets to conversations.
I love to cook so please do let me cook some authentic Chinese stir-fry for you or some Western dishes as well!
