About Me

Namaste! I’m Mukund Mudgal, an IT professional from India who has decided that exploring the world is just as important as debugging code (and honestly, people are more fun than computers!).

I’m a chill, respectful, and curious traveler who loves engaging in good conversations, trying local food, and hearing what makes your city special—bonus points if you let me try your favorite snack or street food!

By day, I work with technology. By night (or on weekends), I love getting lost in new places, laughing over coffee or wine, and collecting stories from awesome humans like you. I’m tidy, polite, and always happy to help—whether that’s cooking a spicy Indian meal, fixing your Wi-Fi, or just making you laugh with some travel fails.

I believe in the Couchsurfing spirit—kindness, trust, and connection. I don’t just want a place to crash; I want to share moments, exchange cultures, and maybe leave with a new friend (or at least a solid story).

Let’s make some memories that don’t require a USB backup!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe the best part of travel isn’t just the places—it’s the people. Hotels give you a bed, but Couchsurfing offers something much more valuable: connection, conversation, and a glimpse into real life in another part of the world.

As someone from India working in IT, I’ve spent years solving tech problems—but now I’m on a mission to explore different cultures, share stories, and learn how people live beyond my screen. I don’t just want to visit your city—I want to experience it through your eyes.

Whether we’re chatting over breakfast, swapping music or recipes, or just chilling after a long day, I’m here to make the most of every moment and leave a positive vibe behind. I’m tidy, respectful, and always up for sharing laughs or lending a hand.

If you decide to host me, you won’t just get a guest—you might gain a new friend (and possibly free tech support 😉). Looking forward to meeting you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven’t travelled or hosted yet, but I’ve always been deeply curious about the world — its people, cultures, food, and stories. One amazing thing I’ve done is push myself to connect with people from different backgrounds, even if just online or around my city. I believe travel is not just about distance, but perspective — and I’m finally taking my first steps into the world through Couchsurfing. That, for me, already feels like something amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I can teach you some basic (or advanced!) tech tips, help with your phone or laptop problems, or introduce you to how things work in the IT world. I can also teach you how to make simple and delicious Indian dishes, show you how to write your name in Hindi, or share fun facts about Indian culture, festivals, or traditions.

Learn:
I love learning about different ways of life—how people live, eat, think, and laugh across the world. I’d love to pick up new cooking recipes, local phrases in your language, or even a cool hobby you enjoy.

Share:
I’d be happy to share stories from India, my experiences in tech, a meal I cook for you, or just a good conversation. I’m a great listener, and I believe everyone has something to teach me. If nothing else, I’ll share some laughs—and maybe a few Bollywood music recommendations too!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share good company, meaningful conversations, and positive energy. I love learning from people and am always happy to contribute—whether it’s cooking you a tasty Indian meal, helping with anything tech-related (think of me as your temporary IT guy 😄), or just sharing stories from my culture.

I can also share tips about India, Bollywood music, chai-making skills, or teach you how to eat with your hands like a pro (if you're up for it!). I’m always happy to help around the house, and I treat every place I stay like my own home -with respect, care, and gratitude.

Most of all, I hope to share laughter, a few good memories, and maybe a lasting friendship.
