Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have experience as a couch surfer in Bulgaria and Montenegro and I hosted some surfers from Germany, Sweden and France at my place.
I really like this way of meeting people, especially while cooking, eating and going out together.

Interests

Reading, Cooking, Yoga, Oriental Dance, Jogging, Traveling, Hiking in the mountains, Cross-country skiing and long walks with dog.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, there is a lot of music, which I like, of different genres and for different settings, ranging form Mari Boine, Dead Can Dance or Tinariwen, through bands like Le Tigre, Looptroop or Bat for Lashes to singers like Norah Jones or Bob Dylan.
Within movies I really like Scandinavian movies (especially Dogme 95)but the first movie which pops up in my mind is Into the Wild with music by Eddie Vedder, just overwhelming.
With books it is quite simillar, but the books, which I remeber probably the most are The Star Rover by Jack London, Miss Smilla´s Feeling for Snow by Peter Høeg and Love Medicine by Louise Erdrich.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking in lonesome mountains in Slovenia and the North of Sweden were one of the the most amazing and exceeding times of my life. But the thrill on the start of every new journey is also unforgetablle as well as these precious meetings with people whom you actually know just for few hours or days, but it feels like you know each other for ages. That´s why I love to travel!
