It's 7 o'clock in the morning, we're still up sitting in my kitchen talking.... I guess by then we all figured out a lot about the other person. Don't want to spoil the fun before that by writing a lot of blabla in here!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I have two kids now, I cannot host as much as I want or used to. Also, I am a lot less spontaneous as I used tooo. If I cannot host you, I always have a bunch of advices for you what you can see or do, also walking trips, bars, clubs and restaurants.

I'd also love to join you for a night out if I have the time. Just ask!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm hosting since more than ten years by now, and only had great experiences and met some interesting new people.
Worked too much, had no time for traveling in a long time, surfed my first couches in Japan ten years ago.
No I have a family, so couchsurfing for myself got a bit tricky, but I still love to host if possible.
But: Couchsurfing is about sharing, meeting new people, telling each other stories, showing you my city and my life, learning about yours. So if you're just looking for a couch to crash on and have your own agenda, please look for a hostel or another couch.

兴趣

I love being an architect, I love to travel, to meet people with interesting stories, I love old cars, and I love clubbing....something that doesn't always go together that well since my job consumes most of the time I have, including weekends.
I lived in Berlin for 20 years, and now moved to a wonderful new place in the forest, a 120 year old hospital.
Berlin is the perfect place for me to be, even though I have to leave every now and then to be able to come back and appreciate the things I have. I have my own architectural firm here with a few friends. Also I didn't find any better clubs or parties anywhere else in the world yet(so to all the people I'm going to visit somewhere on this planet: proof me wrong!)

Also, I love to cook, and I consider myself as a passionate and skilled person in the kitchen. I very much like the higher traditional German cuisine, which is so much more than Bratwurst and Sauerkraut. Maybe you will have the chance of trying one of my dishes...

音乐、电影和书籍

I am very much into movies,and also very picky. Here's selection of the movies I found rather good: Brazil by Terry Gilliam, Leolo, Naked Lunch, The Movies by Jaques Tati, Ghibli movies by Myazaki, David Lynch, Richard Linklater, Quite a few Korean Movies, Francois Ozon, Peter Greenaway... damn it, there are so many, I just can't decide which are my favourites! But, I can also indulge a night of classic SciFi such as Star Wars or Bladerunner!

A book I can recommend to everybody travelling:
Moscow - Petuschki by Wenedikt Jerofeiev.
A desperate guy travels from Moscow to a small town by train to see his girlfriend and son, a lot of Vodka involved and one thing leads to another....

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Working in small villages in Mexico for the poor to build them houses.
Staying with people that have almost nothing but the little they have they'd love to share with you. Especially on Cuba.
Illegally crossing the border from Lao into Cambodia by bribing the customs officer and arguing about the amount while being surrounded by armed guards (it was 10 Dollars after all)
Finding a totally different Turkay than I expected.

教，学，和分享

I think everybody should travel alone to some totally different place at least once. Helps heaps to clear you head and get different thoughts. In the end, you learn to appreciate the things you have a lot more.
