ABOUT ME

I´m 23 years old and study "Child Development and Early Childhood Education" in Heidelberg. For my studies I have to do a practical training abroad. So this is why I´m back in New Zealand for the third time. After travelling the North Island with my friend Feli I will start my practical training in a Kindergarten for 5 weeks.
I fell in love with the beautiful New Zealand when I came here in 2011 to work as an AuPair. 2013 I came back to visit my hostfamily.

Now it is the first time that I can show someone from home (Germany) the place where I once lived and where I experienced so much hospitality while travelling.
Feli and I know each other since primary school and we allready travelled to Ireland and some places in Germany together. Feli is 24 years old and she works as a HR clerk in a big company.

Feli and I have two weeks together in New Zealand where I want to show her all around the North Island. While my first two stays in New Zealand I did a lot of Couchsurfing with my friend Mona. I have so many positive memories about that way to stay somewhere that I want to share some of my future memories with Feli too.

We are all excited about our upcoming trip and we can´t wait to get to know some of you :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In the moment I just can surf, because back home in Germany I still live with my parents.
Here in New Zealand I tried Couchsurfing the first time and I "fell in love" with it! Its so much better than sleeping in a Hostel because instead of having just a place where I can sleep, I meet new people, learn much about them and their lives and I can make new friends!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most exciting and amazing thing I´ve ever done was to come to New Zealand and to live 18.500km from home for one year!
