About Me

I quit my corporate job in September 2016 and made a road trip (with my belongings) from Philadelphia to Austin. I then flew to China to visit my family. From there I backpacked through Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Singapore. I am finishing up on the Pacific Northwest, where I'm meeting up with some old friends.

This was my first road trip and backpacking trip. Met lots of interesting people along the way. On a budget and any help is much appreciated. I have plenty of stories to trade. I only learned of couchsurfing when I started this trip, and look forward to hosting others after I'm settled down in Austin (or somewhere else).

I like: fine art museums, art films, psych rock, botanical gardens, hiking, city roaming, cycling, swimming, festivals, mathematics...
