ABOUT ME

i am from wisconsin! i have a big loving family, who taught me to work hard, and play harder. i lived in a colorado mountain town for several years, where i met some great folks who inspired me to continue searching for good times. i fell in love.. moved to oregon. fell in love with the northwest, and can't think of a better place to be. working/shredding and volunteering time and energy to great causes, while enjoying the surrounding sights, sounds, and tastes of this region is what i am most fond of doing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i surf. i host. i really like to show people a good time, whether its in the city, on the coast, or in the mountains, its all about getting out there and shredding it up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

my first surfing experience (using couchsurfing.org) was down in bend, oregon. it was great. opening weekend of bachelor, with amazing earlier season snow.

i enjoy camping, so i normally hike out into national forest for the night, and tend to get caught up waste deep in a small river with fly rod in hand.

Interesses

the great outdoors. spending time with my family. sleeping with stars above. continuing to learn about why am so blessed. snow, surf, rock, clean rivers and lakes, healthy forests. beer, wine, fruits, and cheese. oh, and music..

i love learning new lessons, and revisiting old ones. im all about sharing the know to get the most out of anyones time. it's pretty amazing what a little bit of know will do for you when your surfing a new break/fishing a new river/venturing into unfamiliar backcountry terrain/looking for a restaurant to eat at. ask questions and share some knowledge!
