About Me

Hello! I'm a 22 years old student, currently studying Oriental Languages in Sapienza, Rome.
I love travelling around the world, and I love meeting interesting, nice people. I am very friendly, will talk to anyone as long as the relationship is respectful. If I could practice my study languages, especially Japanese, it would be even better.
I trust people easily, but I am an experienced traveller, so I am used to listen to other people's rules and follow them. For me it's very important to get along, because the most important thing while travelling is meeting people and creating friendships and lasting relationships among people. I am friendly and I go a long way to make everyone feel comfortable with having me around. I don't need babysitting, since I am completely able to go around an unknown city or neighborhood without worries - but if you are a kind of host that likes to take me around and do fun activities together, I will be the perfect tourist for you, because I enjoy having fun and I am very enthusiastic about pretty much everything.
I've lived all my life in Rome, Italy, which is a pretty multicultural city, and I was raised to believe that everyone is equal, and the difference in culture does not stop us from understanding one another. On the contrary, differences expand our experience of the world, they make us better people, wiser. Loving that which is different or unknown is so difficult, because it requires courage and strenght, and that is what I want to do for all my life.
I visited some European countries, and I've been to China and the USA. I've always been the observant tourist - I don't feel like I have to "see" the nation I am visiting as if it were a museum. Nations are made of people, so the one thing that I want to do when I travel is to talk to people and listen to their lives. I would also love to experience a day to day routine in that particular country.
Visiting Japan was always my dream since I was very little. In the Summer of 2018 I worked in an Ice cream shop and with the money earned I finally bought a ticket to go to Japan for 40 days. It's a pleasure trip, it's a study trip, and it's a work trip, because I am also considering whether I want to work in Japan in the future.
I want to travel all my life and bring cultures and nations together. This is my ambition as a citizen of the world. And my ambition as a human is to love and be loved freely.
