Hi :)

Being half Portuguese, I though it was time to explore my heritage and decided to make the charming city of Porto my latest home!

14 months later I can confirm it's worthy winner of European destination of the year for the second time running :)

PHILOSOPHY

Once you've been bitten by the travel bug there is no known antidote!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host, surf and attend local meetings when I can. Also participate in CS hiking events to lovely landscapes in the north of Portugal!

I've had brilliant experiences hosting and surfing in Portugal and beyond!

Interests

Travelling and living with locals, trying foods from around the world.

Try and travel by bike wherever possible.. pretty much everywhere!

Total sucker for all animals - if you have a dog don't be offended if I happen to ignore you;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming with humpback whales in Tonga & shaking hands with orang utans in a wild Sumatran jungle. Incredible!
