ABOUT ME

My wife, Jenny and I love to travel and experience different cultures. We have been WWoof hosts for 18 years
and we really enjoy meeting new people from all around the world and sharing our farming lifestyle and organic food with them. We have 3 wonderful grown up children.
Our passion is growing organic food and educating people about the benefits of organic food and farming. Our main crops are rice,oats and wheat. And we have sheep as part of our integrated organic system.

PHILOSOPHY

We live our lives to help others in anyway we can i.e giving to charities, hosting people, sponsoring a child overseas and helping others to feel good about themselves so they can achieve all they want to achieve.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We joined 2011 and we look forward to hosting more couch surfers. On our trip to Europe in 2011 we stayed with hosts in Austria, Prague, Zurich and Lauffen in Germany. They were all great hosts and we really enjoyed meeting local people and not just being tourists.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have limited experience hosting couch surfers but we have hosted about 200+ people from all around the world as part of the Wwoof and HelpX organizations. Wwoof stands for willing workers on organic farms. Consequently we have many friends in other countries and we have been to stay with some of them. As mentioned above we have couch surfed in Europe and had a great time meeting new friends and we have couch surfed in Australia too.

Enjoy a good comedy or romance and quite often watch foreign films. Some of our favorites are Amelie and Chocolat,
Nothing to Declare, Australia(the movie) and The Dish.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Sat on a mountain top in Austria and listened to some Austrian ladies sing a beautiful traditional song from their area. A true mountain top experience!
Eaten an Iceburg in Germany with the help of 5 other people.
