ABOUT ME

Hi, we are a family of four. There is me Klaudia (Polish), Paul (Irish) and two great kids John (6 years old) and Maja (2 years old). We live in the Rep of Ireland, County Galway. Our village is called Dolan and is as far west as you can get. We live right beside the Atlantic Ocean, we have a spectacular view and the beach is literally 2 minutes walk from the house. We are very lucky and enjoy this place nearly (!) everyday. There are times though when I'd love to run for my life to some far away land with more sunshine and highstreet shops.... I am a born and bred city girl. I grew up in Warsaw, Poland. I moved to London when I was 21 and lived there until January 2009 when we moved to Paul's home village in Ireland. We've been here for 3 years now!
Sometimes life in this remote location proves to be a challenge but I try to occupy my mind as much as possible. I recently started my own blog http://wildcherrystreet.blogspot.com/
I would love to do some more travelling, I didn't travel that much in my twenties (too busy and fascinated by London) and would love to change that in my thirties! The kids are big enough now so we can just pack up and go!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am not able to host anyone in our house, simply because we don't have a spare room for guests, I am however renovationg my sitting room and once I have the sofa-bed in I'll be able to host cool people who are not afraid of the wild weather of the West of Ireland!! Also I have a lot of space for camping if you like sleeping in a tent. Guests would be more than welcome to share my bathroom, kitchen etc
