Hi! I’m Ankit. I’m from Delhi, India, although I was born in Bihar. But I’ve spent my entire childhood and life in Delhi — it’s where I studied and where my dreams took flight.

The dream of traveling around the world didn’t come suddenly. There were many reasons behind it, but the real inspiration came from a traveler named Nomad Shubham — who is also from Bihar and is now exploring the world. When I first saw Shubham on YouTube, I must have been around 15 or 16 years old. I was so inspired by his videos that, for the first time, I realized that if you believe in yourself, you can achieve anything. That moment, I decided that one day I would also travel the world — just like Shubham. And honestly, who doesn’t love to travel? To turn this dream into reality, I first focused on completing my studies. Then I started planning trips, learning English, finding ways to earn money, and doing jobs. Eventually, there came a time when I felt ready to begin this journey. I’m so glad I followed my dream. I chose a path that makes me feel alive. I’ve never been the kind of person who chases money all my life — honestly, that kind of life scares me. So I chose the path that brings me happiness and meaning.

I’m calm, respectful, open-minded, and always ready to help. For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just a way to stay for free — it’s a way to build meaningful connections, exchange cultures, and grow as a person.

I can make a cup of Indian tea for you. We can even cook Indian food if you want. Although I don't know how to cook, we can cook together by looking on the internet, I'm sure. I can even teach you a little Hindi if you want.

I would also like to learn a few words of your local language as it makes traveling easier. We can also visit local places together.

I can also teach you some Hindi words and sentences. We can also cook Indian food, as I said earlier, I don't know how to cook it but I am sure I can cook it after looking at the internet. But I can at least serve Indian tea, I know that. We can go to visit local places together 😊
