CURRENT MISSION
100 microbreweries, 50 states, check out my blog dude!
ABOUT ME
Hi,
In the summers I work for a glacier dogsledding company that carries tourists around a glacier in Southeast Alaska. I have been mushing sled dogs for about four years, and have lived all over North America doing just that. I recently got an idea for a book and am choosing two microbreweries in each state to write up in an adventure based read. This winter I am visiting 25 states, and 25 next winter. SO far I have only 13 more states to visit, and will be heading north to the Northern Atlantic states. I have two huskies that love snow, but are probably better at finding couches than any other living creature. They are kind, obedient, well-trained, and very happy huskies. We are on the road together, seeing and doing and helping as much as we can along the way. We look forward to crashing on your couch, and crocheting you a hat for your warm hospitality!
PHILOSOPHY
-Treat others like you want to be treated
-With freedom comes responsibility
-Life's a garden, dig it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Everywhere I travel I build relationships based on my passions. I play guitar well, crochet, am a photographer, and also an artist of other mediums. My goal with CS and my book is to bring people together and bring more comfort to people who travel and encourage the population to live within their means, but also support local sustainability. I am a smart hippy, I think:-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have slept on many a couch. I live on a glacier in a tent for six months out of the year, so anything indoors is an upgrade for me. I am an avid camper, but also know how to crash on a couch when the opportunity arrises!
