About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To visit and explore as many places as possible while working. I want to visit places the locals don't even know about and learn all about the areas along the way.

ABOUT ME

Here is the quick and dirty version of my life.
I was born in a small beach town in California(and thus absolutely love the ocean and everything to do with it)

I got my first taste of international traveling after primary school when I traveled through Italy and Switzerland with my family.

I moved to Washington state after primary school and learned to endure freezing cold weather which is especially difficult after California weather.

I'm now in Belgium for a year working and traveling as much as humanly possible.

I should mention something about my love for music too. I'm almost always listening to something wherever I am. I live life like it's a very long song.

PHILOSOPHY

My way of living goes like this.
Be free. Experience as much as possible. Be happy in all that you do. Do the things you are passionate about, and learn.

It's taken me a while to get it down to this, but I like to think I've got it down pretty well. This is not to say that all of life is happy, sometimes you have to do things that you rather not. No matter what though I always strive to maintain my freedom, happiness, and ability to learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far my only non family related couch surfing is quite limited. I've couch surfed once in Munich, Germany. I had no idea what to expect and I absolutely loved the experience. Not only was it a blast getting to explore the city but it was great getting to develop friendships with new people with different backgrounds and viewpoints than my own.

I can't wait to expand my experiences with couch surfing and hosting.

Interests

I love to explore and go on adventures. I enjoy hiking, rock climbing, swimming, and doing pretty much anything outdoors.

I can also enjoy a nice relaxing time indoors too, cooking and eating, reading, or just sitting around with a cup of coffee and chatting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I could go on and on about the band I like so I'll skip that part, I enjoy listening to a little bit of everything; just depends on my mood.

I love reading, particularly science fiction and fantasy novels but I'll read pretty much anything I can get my hands on.

As far as movies go, I'm happy watching most everything. Action movies, animated movies tend to be in my favorite but it's nice to mix in a good drama every now and then.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've had the opportunity to experience is India. I traveled through Bombay, Delhi, Agra, Pune, and Hyrderabad. I saw the Taj Mahal which to date is the most fascinating and beautiful structure I've ever seen. The reason India was so mind blowing for me was because it is so completely different from anything I've ever seen. The people, the culture, the landscape, everything is different and awe inspiring.
