Hey Folks!

I'm Maik (like Mike) a young, open, curious guy from Hamburg-Germany, travelling the world for new adventures.

I'm 23 years old, just finishing my studies in musicology annd part time freelance musician.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

as I'm not quite sure, how long I will be living in Hamburg, I can't promise having a couch available. I love showing other people the city though!
So if your in town and in need of a tour guide, I'm your guy ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed some in London and Dublin and loved every second of it.
From a nice elderly gentlement in the subburbs to the crazy, multicultured group further near downtown.
I rather enjoyed spending some time with the people I stay with, rather then just sleeping there

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Movies: loads! total movie junkie! favorites: Running with Scissors, Donnie Darko, The Hours

Musik: classical, folk, some metal leftovers (used to be a big metalhead), rock, pop (the new Gaga-Album is amazing... yeah I know "clishee")

Books: Fantasy, well told fiction, short stories (neil Gaiman Cahtrine Mansfield), classic literatures

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I know quite a bit on music and especially opera and I have a talent for remembering things, nooe really needs to know.
So if you're up for a "guided performance" of sorts, some background infrmation on your favorite comoposer or some fun trivia about for example starfish or the Crimean War, medieaval inks or wahtever, I'm more than happy of having found someone who is xD
