About Me
My name is MUTABAZI Fiacre, I was born and raised in Rwanda a country of thousand hills. I am socially and ecologically committed artist and entrepreneur based in Rwanda. Am an outgoing, friendly person who loves to see what is out there and love to meet different people 👫👭with different backgrounds, ethnicity and cultures from all over the world.
A quick intro about me,
I have been working in the creative industry for more than four years. I founded ‘MyStory’ in 2017, an organization that shares stories to inspire, connect, and enable young people to pursue their dreams. Through that, I met many inspiring artists and thus decided to create the Kunda Arts Collective (www.kundartscollective.com) with a German business partner Katharina Hartwig. The organization has the aim to promote sustainable development in Rwanda through partnering with local as well as international artists and investing in their communities. With my projects I support social and sustainable art projects. Recently, we launched a new project called Kunda Eco-Arts Space which promotes upcycled arts products in Rwanda. We collect glass bottles, plastic bags, leftover fabric and other waste that would end up filling landfills or floating in the sea have, in the hands of some artists, become a form of sustainable art that highlights the degradation of the planet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was inspired by a woman from Germany who told me that she have been Couch-surfing for ages and she has had positive stories with it. Also, at my dad's house we have been hosting a lot of people from different nationalities which I found it interesting especially sharing cultures and interests... 😜

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Diving from the highest peak of the falls! scary though! 😭but was fun.
2. Drove in a very narrow steepy, dark, scary cliff at the back of the cemetery for 20 mins together with 2 other CS friends!! It was really scary we thought we will not make it!! But oh yeah we did!! End up with nice cold beer at the end of the day!
3. And of course meeting a lot of nice friendly people anywhere, everywhere
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am having a house with 4 room. I have my own mini office (where sometimes my friends or guest stay) with me. If you're ok to sleep there or on the carpeted floor next to my bed 😜😜 and chit chat crazy adventures, then I can offer you my place.
I'm ok for meet ups and I don't mind showing them around in Rwanda. 😜😜 If you need assistance for city sightseeing, tours, getting to know the places on where to and how to you can count on me.
