ABOUT ME

Here are some random facts about me.

I am:

A vegetarian and a part-time vegan, who finds it difficult to find an alternative for cheese.

A dedicated food enthusiast. This means growing herbs, chilis etc. on my balcony (would grow more if only I had a real garden), cooking (on my own, for my friends or with friends), eating (in restaurants, at friends´ places, at home, abroad) and thinking about the previous.

A lover of flee markets and vintage stores. There´s nothing better than finding treasures (shoes, bags etc.) hidden among all kinds of more or less hideous things.

PHILOSOPHY

Stressed is desserts spelled backwards.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I mainly want to meet new people via CS, and attend CS events. Hopefully later I will be able to host myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got drawn in by my ex-boyfriend who took me with him to CS meetings. He hosted a lot during the time we were together and since he invited me to his place everytime he hosted anyone, I´ve been kinda hosting myself already. And liked the experience. The best has been to cook together with the guests and then sit down to enjoy the meal and just chat away and watch the time fly. Also, while living in Brussels we couchsurfed in Belgium, Luxemburg, Netherlands and France and those have all been very positive experiences.
