Settle into Toronto, make the most of my newest employment experience within the social services sector, grow my social network
I'm an easy-going and relaxed person, pretty laid-back. I'm generally talkative, respectful and funny. I like to hear other people's opinions, share stories, and lots of laughs.
When I travel to cities, I love to walk (or cycle). Often I'll walk all day without direction, stopping at whatever peaks my interest: an inviting person, a landmark, a piece of architecture, a natural landscape or a pick-up game of soccer. Vehicles get you 'there' faster but if you don't have a 'there' in mind, walking is way better.
I live in Canada, born and raised in Toronto. For 4.5 years I lived in Guelph where I studied International Development and worked at the same time so I could save up some money, which I partly spent traveling :)
Recently, I completed an sustainable urban planning internship in Mexico and am now enjoying my time back here in Toronto, working in the social services field.
"Don't ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." "My choice is what I choose to do, and if Iâm causing no harm it shouldnât bother you. Your choice is who you choose to be, and if youâre causing no harm then youâre all right with me.â -Ben Harper

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell, "Wayfinders" by Wade DavisMovies: documentaries, science fiction, horror, adventure. I enjoy all sorts of movies. Sometimes children's movies are the best because they're simple, easy to enjoy, silly, and fun. Music: classic rock, hip-hop, rap, jazz, reggae, reggaeton, dance, pop, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming in open waters alongside a whale shark was incredible, insane and left me speechless! The story is best when told in person :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmm...I'm usually able to highlight the good of most situations/put a positive spin/make someone laugh, which is important for your sanity and to avoid unnecessary stress.
