ABOUT ME

I'm in. Just in general. I like experiencing new things and travelling in the everyday. I love art, both making and viewing. and cocktails. And being outside. I don't like watching baseball, but love big fields of grass. Clear, warm days somewhere with snow makes my heart melt. I'm a bit of a nerd at heart and like reading books about the lives of mathematicians, because most of them were pretty crazy. Like Bertie and his wife swapping or Boole and his being killed by a double negative. True stories.

Interests

I love the outdoors, but not so much hiking -- I need activities with something at the end of the process. I guess hiking to go fly fishing is okay. Love to backcountry ski. Nothing beats pints with friends or poorly made mixed drinks on the beach. Am a sucker for good books.

Music, Movies, and Books

Cloud Atlas is my favorite book. Ever. It's got everything. Like a fruit salad without all those tasteless apple slices. In general I find myself reading more non-fiction, but that's usually just because they can grab my attention easier based on topic. I'm all over the place with music, but some of my favorite albums of all time are Pink Moon (Nick Drake), Emergency & I (Dismemberment Plan), and Sharpen Your Teeth (Ugly Casanova).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can pass on art lessons, teach you how to build a robot, and teach you to flyfish. I also cook a mean salmon.
