ABOUT ME

I caught the travel bug early and love to go and see. I have been to all the continents except Australia. When I am not going places, I am reading, cooking, shopping, making pottery (not very good Yet) but hope to get better. I also do bike riding, sailing, camping, go to the theater and keep in touch with my friends.
P.S. I made it to Australiz late last year and had a good time.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to have a positive experience with everyone around me - a "win-win" situation. I want to experience the highs and not so highs with a positive attitude.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to take my time and experience different cultures and customs. I had spent 4 weeks in Tokyo,Japan. I also did an extensive road trip of the United States and Canada as well as the 7-10 day trips. I am getting ready to cruise the Mediterranean but have 10 days on my own and looking forward to that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to Bulgaria with a friend and did couch surfing for the first time. I was there for the "hug day" and made some life-long friends. I have since hosted this family and we are keeping in touch. I had a wonderful time.

I love the big band sound and ballroom dancing. I also enjoy live concerts, the jazz and the oldies.
My favorite writer is ken follet and try to read all of his books.
