About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To visit all capitals of Europe, and seeing the world, and living while doing so
ABOUT ME
I am Michael. I live in Copenhagen, Denmark, (4km north of Copenhagen city center).
All the formel stuff at first.
I am an educated bricklayer and Land surveyer -
And I have worked in the Surveying business since the summer of 2011, and this is how I make funding for my travels.
----------------
I am the type of guy who likes to have all kinds of crazy trivial knowledge and information about strange things. E.g. that many people would prefer havning a blue tooth brush instead of a red.
One of the best thing I know, is laughter and conversating with people. Almost nothing is better than a good chat and/ or laugh.
I really enjoy listening to people too, especially when they have a story to tell. Maybe I could even learn a bit.
If some see me as a local tour guide, well I am not that of an expert in tourist attractions, but I will help you as much I can, if needed.
-----------------
As hobbies I have quite a great interest cooking. I like to make all sorts of food, that I've heard of somewhere, and the try to cook it myself. Well, not always with the wished result.
Then I love to learn new and different stuff. I like to seek inspiration in different things, whether it's music, travelling etc. all of it to try get just a little bit wiser to, what it means to "be living".
Otherwise what I like too see and beeing in is the nature, and natural surroundings. The nature is of big importance to me. I think it is our greatest source of knowledge, inspiration and wisdom. That's probably why I enjoy it so much.
PHILOSOPHY
Try not just growing into an old man. Do something - learn something, and try make the best of it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I find this community as an excellent way to travel the world. And at the same time meet new people and get to know them. Then mostly I browse through a list of cities/places I want to go, and see if there is a host I share some values with so if it ends up in meeting/staying a certain place, both host and guest can benefit from it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed a bit, but so far only with people I knew beforehand, e.g. Old dorm-buddies and so on.
Interests
Learning / studying, travelling, movies, literature of many sorts. Having a good cup of coffee, and occasionally a pint of beer. Like to bake all kinds of chocolate cakes.

Music, Movies, and Books
Legends of the Fall, the Shawshank redemption, Good Will Hunting,
-a lot of different music, mostly Rock music. Mostly everything from Elvis Presley to Rammstein.
Different type of books and literature. Sometimes literature on technique, and invetions, some other time fictional short stories.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Maybe I could list a thousand great places I seen or done, but hey, no one mentioned means no one forgotten.
I think the most daring thing is to do what you a want, and travel if this is what you want. Really choosing your way of life, and not go with the flow. It is easier said than done.
OK then, I have roadtripped Estonia a few times. This was utterly awesomeness each time. A brilliant place to tour arround if you like road trips.
Teach, Learn, Share
Any person I can learn - even a bit - from.
Yes, I know I copy-pasted the sentence from above, but I find these two boxes of information to be the two sides of the same coin. Well. If I figure out something to add I will fill it in, surely.
