À propos de moi

Hello! I am Hanh. I am originally from Hanoi, Vietnam and I have been in Japan for 7 years. I love cooking, singing, playing with animals, and meeting new people.
I have met some amazing people who kindly hosted me during my previous trips thanks to Couchsurfing, so I would love to do something to give back to this community.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I enjoy almost every kind of music, and I love singing and dancing too! For movies, I love Spirited Away, My neighbor Totoro, Grave of the fireflies, and the most recent one I watched again with my friends was Kungfu Hustle (which was hilarious!). I also enjoy reading all types of books, and my most favorite Japanese comic is Doraemon.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Decided to come to Japan when I was 18 and lived independently ever since. Back in Vietnam, being the only child in a single-parent family was a huge obstacle for me to make any bold move. However, I pushed myself out of my comfort zone to pursue higher studies in Japan, became a founder of a cultural-exchange community in Tokyo, experienced myself in several companies, and volunteered for the Vietnamese refugees in Ibaraki. The seven years in Japan have brought me numerous wonderful opportunities to travel, learn the culture, meet people from all over the world, and experience some of the best things that I might never be able to do in Vietnam.
