ABOUT ME

well, i am a self employed bookbinder...and i spend quite a bit of time traveling around the US selling them at juried fine art shows. its not a bad way to make a living. and i save as much as i can so i can travel out of the country when business is slow. usually in the winter! i love to dance...salsa is really my favorite...i learned to dance with my latino friends in austin and i try to have several dance parties at my house or studio every year! i truly am blessed with some of the most amazing friends there! life is pretty sweet!

PHILOSOPHY

i feel like i am repeating myself here...but...i really just love to celebrate life as much as possible...i try not to work too hard...but i do, running your own business is never easy! but i only need to make enough money to travel and eat well! i don´t need new clothes ( that's why we girls have clothing swaps) and i gotta pay the mortgage, but then everything else goes toward good times and travel!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i have only just joined couch surfing because i usually stay in hostels when i travel, but was told this would be a good way to meet other dancers while i am in colombia, so that i can meet people to go out dancing with! when i get back home i´ll return the favor!!

i haven´t had any experience personally...only stories my friends have told me!

did i mention dancing already?? i also really love to rollerskate ( quads..old school style!) and i love meeting new people when i travel...i am trying to improve my spanish and it is a great lesson to hang out with people who donñt speak any english at all! necesito aprender mas!

hmm...i know how to dance salsa, but not sure i could teach it...i can help people needing to learn english..i can speak spanish at an almost intermediate level now,,,well, that may be a stretch,,,,hmmm
