My name is Myhanh, pronounced "Me-Han" I grew up in California in a traditional Vietnamese family. I love traveling to different countries and exploring both the culture and nature of places i go. I love meeting new people and getting their take on places they have seen, lived and visited. I hope by the time I'm 50, that I will be able to see more than 40 different countries .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet locals and get to know a place better than just a quick visit without any true contact with locals. I hope that by couchsurfing i will make new lifelong friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rock, alternative, soft rock, pop and soundtracks, both musicals and movies. For movies I like watching: action-adventure, comedies, dramas, martial arts and musicals. I love reading: romance, suspense, mysteries and magic. If a book combines any of these topics, i will read it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing i have done is go snorkeling in the Galapagos islands.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to teach other a little about my culture, through food (making Vietnamese food).
I would like to learn more about the ares i visit, than what is in guide books.
I would love to share a meal or just some conversation.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some of my experiences, by telling them about some of my travels. I would like to also maybe cook for my host sometime to introduce them to some of the food i learned growing up.
