ABOUT ME

I love my safety nets, and generally have a Plan B, C and D no matter what I do. That being said I also love to just let go and see what happens. As long as everybody is safe, I am content. When I figure out how to make someone else happy, that is the greatest feeling.
Oh and I love food. And I'm not really as serious in person as this profile might suggest. I get excited over silly things and sometimes wish I could be a kid forever.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I've been abroad for slightly more than 100 days, and will need to re-establish a base of operations/bank account balance, but once that's all sorted I fully intend to try and show interested people around my home, I have been treated very well and it's about time I gave something back.

Interests

Writing, playing my flute, and becoming fixated on random things until I feel I've learnt enough about it. Language and absolutely everything about it. Above all, people. What makes people do the things they do, how they think ... You know, personal ethics and philosophy, that sort of thing. The things that make us different and 'unique' are absolutely fascinating to me.

Movies: Spiderman, Edward Scissorhands, Daremo Shiranai, Riri Shuu Shuu no Subete, Tian Long Ba Bu, Infernal Affairs, Amelie ... foreign movies are cool.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting lost on Misen on Miyajima and accidentally finding myself on the top of quite a tall mountain with a fantastic view ... only to be greeted by a vending machine and convenience store. Well, that's Japan for you xD
