My name is Myles and I am a 23 year old student from Winnipeg, Manitoba. I am current living in Bielefeld, Germany on an exchange semester.

I love hiking, fishing, anything in the outdoors, and exploring new cities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be done my school term in Germany at the end of June 2019 and I am hoping to be able to spend the rest of my summer travelling throughout Europe. I am looking for couches to make my money go further, but more importantly, getting a chance to meet a local and discovering new places with some guidance of someone who knows what they are doing.

Interests

Hiking - There is something pretty amazing looking out from the top of a mountain that you just spent hours walking to get to the top of.

Fishing - What beats a day out on the water, out in the sun, music, and maybe a beer or two?

Traveling - I am not sure how anyone could say they don't like travelling.

Sports - The most fun way to stay fit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being from the prairies, the ocean lifestyle has always fascinated me. A hitching hiking experience in Eastern Canada led me to meeting a lobster fisherman. Not only did he let me stay the night at his place and happened to be a pretty cool dude, he took me out lobster fishing the next day. A memory I will never forget.
