Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To exchange ideas, stories, and cultures. I crave novel experiences and I don't mind being lost, as long as there is a good story to come out of it. I want to be an ambassador for those who visit my city, and be a sponge in whichever city I visit.
ABOUT ME
I hail from Denver, Colorado. I graduated from university where I volunteered more than I should have. Quitting my "adult" job in the states, I began traveling over Europe before working in Bosnia. I've also been through Mexico, Russia, and Asia; currently have my eye on South America.
PHILOSOPHY
We teach our children about the 'golden rule'- to treat others the way we'd like to be treated, but rarely do we follow this ourselves. Increase dopamine, reduce suffering. Never stop learning. Doing good for others is never a bad idea. The only way to make time move slower is to do something new. Your brain is literally a muscle---exercise it. Be kind to animals.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As a visitor, I offer vegan cooking skills [I am NOT an evangelist], help around the house, life advice, english lessons, motivation to explore a new part of your city, beatboxing/ kneecap drums, and much more.
I host whenever I have my own apartment---been some time since.
Interests
Coffee to go, wine in plastic cups, market food eaten curbside, podcasts walking through streets, sports that put wind on your face, motorbikes on warm mornings, situations that make you double check the map.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Life is too interesting to watch a scripted film. Documentaries, 100%.
Books: I don't read as much as I should, though substitute with podcast and journal articles.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Taking a motorcycle from the south to the north of vietnam with a paper map and no language skills. Epic.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Vegetarian cooking, house help, life advice, english speaking practice, music playing, writing, editing, etc.
