About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travel the world and try out to cook and bake the local dishes there

ABOUT ME

I see myself as a curious person and adventurous! I am a third culture person. I love to travel, see the world and explore new things. Experience is the best teacher! Although I enjoy being outdoors, I also enjoy being at home, learning new recipes, reading books. I love smart conversations! Something that can stimulate my brain and piqued my curiosity. It's always fun to just be able to expand your horizons. As one said, knowledge is power.

Interests

Trying out new experience, checking out new places, and activities. Learning new languages and cultures. When my introverted side kicks in, I enjoy staying at home just reading a book or trying out a new recipe.

Music, Movies, and Books

Thriller/mystery/suspense fictions. Jeffery Deaver, Jeffery Archer, Ruth Rendall, some of Paolo Coelho books, Haruki Murakami.
Yea I'm a thriller junkie!
If my geeky side kicks in I enjoy reading those nonfiction books, essay, journalsThe topic I'm mostly interested in are psychology, women, spirituality, and sociology.

Comedy shows/movies, thrillers and suspense, indie movies, Brit's hot fuzz stuff. Here are some titles. Le Fabuleoux Destin D'Amelie Poulain, Goodbye Lenin, Under The Tuscan Sun, Le Miserables, Inception, Griff the Invisible, Watchmen, Death at the Funeral.

I LOVE watching Musical Theater performances. When I was in Sydney I watched couple of performances and I fell in love with musical theater! My favorite one of all time would be Wicked!

As for music, I enjoy listening to lots of bossanova, jazz, folk, and acoustics stuff. Kings of COnvenience, Miles Davis, Lisa Ono, Gabin, Eldissa, Putumayo stuff, Carla Bruni. I grew up being exposed to multiculturalism hence I LOVE foreign languages. I enjoy listening to songs in languages that mostly I don't understand. I've been listening to these things since I was pretty young. I think I was about 6 ish when my dad introduced me to jazz and ever since I've been listening to it and even tried to sing songs which languages I don't even speak. And it's something I enjoy until now. It's those little things that make me happy.
